“This 1949 exhibition organized by Louis Touchagues at the Grand Palais included home decorators, but it represented mainly theater designers. The exhibit sought to be livelier than most such shows, and used dummies, reduced models of theaters, furniture and accessories. The imposition of the white plane in the background, and the back-to-back faces with the artisans’ symbols, give a colorful presentation of the event” (Colin, p. 11). This is the smaller format version of the design.
