This maquette was created to advertise an exhibition titled “The Age of Plastic,” held at the headquarters of the chemical industry in Paris. The uncanny image presents the material as a wonder to behold, and equates it to organic matter. Unfortunately, the world had no idea how much damage this new material would wreck on our environment.
