This is one of two posters created by Colin for the first sound version of “The Three Musketeers.” The actor Colline did not have a very big role in the film, but it made sense to feature him because he was very well known to the French public from the radio, on which he was one of the most popular singers at the time. The poster employs Colin’s usual economy of lines and colors.
