This film by Wanda Jakubowska, survivor of the infamous Auschwitz concentration camp, recounts the horrible atrocities which she and her fellows were subjected to. Most of the roles were played by the other survivors with whom she stayed in contact. This semi-documentary was obviously not a commercial project, and Colin probably got little or no pay, but this was one of the posters he contributed to good causes in his mature years. The film had a brief release in the U.S. with the title “The Last Step.”
