Although snuggled closely with her escort, the young lady is giving us a most encouraging smile, as if suggesting there's always hope for us if we play our cards right. With such prospects, who wouldn't join the Belgian Touring Club? Droit was a French illustrator and caricaturist; he contributed copiously to various magazines, drew cartoons for Le Rire, illustrated a number of books, and did some posters for the performing arts. In 1911, he made a trip to Belgium where he produced a few posters.
