With a sweeping view of the Monte-Carlo seaside in the background, Turner presents one of his best Grand Prix designs. This was the first year in which three-liter engines were used, and was the debut season for the McLaren team. Adding even more excitement was that a few scenes in the movie “Grand Prix” were filmed during the race. In the end, Jackie Stewart came in first in his BRM.
