Originally titled "Ivan Kozyr", this Soviet film focuses on a former member of the White Guards returning from exile abroad under an assumed identity. While on board the ship, he falls in love with Tatiana, becoming entwined in a love triangle with her and the ship’s captain. Due to its Hollywood-esque plot, Soviet censors heavily edited the film, removing Kozyr as the hero. The poster, however, still showcases the removed Western decadence.
