The Place Blanche is a small plaza along the Boulevard de Clichy, which, in addition to being home to a handful of quaint cafés, also houses the famed Moulin Rouge. Here, Müller gives us two groups of young women, illuminated by the new electric streetlights, with the windmill of the music hall aglow in the background. This example is hand-signed by the artist in the lower right.
