Saddle up, young bucks—John Ford directed this 1918 silent film about a prison escapee who enlists his two buddies to kidnap a tough-guy thief from the sheriff's stage coach. In the midst of the mayhem, the lead character (played by Harry Carey) accidentally robs a poor girl and her mother—family members of the desperado—but all ends well when he decides to run off with the girl and start a new life. Released under the title "Three Mounted Men," this poster promotes the French language release; the film is today considered to be lost.
