A Berlin advertising ball receives a celebratory treatment from Arpke, a trained lithographer who headed the department of Applied Graphics at the School of Graphics and Book Design in Berlin. His best-known work is as co-designer (with Erich Stahl) of the Expressionistic poster for “Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari.”
