The founders of Doriot, Flandrin & Parant had previously worked for Peugeot and Clément-Bayard before launching their own company that produced a single cylinder light car. Eventually four-cylinder models were added, and they began making their own engines in 1912. Here, an example of one of their models is compared to the speed and agility of a greyhound.
