For anyone who believes that PMS and menopause are health concerns that have only recently surfaced on the talk show circuit, we would like to present Exhibit A: Mauzan’s poster for Untisal pain reliever. Though humorous in its overblown caricaturization of the topic, this brutal scene of domestic unrest could just as easily have been used to raise money to fund hormonal research. Roughly translated, the top text reads, “What you take to calm you down.” For the battered hubby and his overwrought spouse’s sake, we can only hope that claim is true. It's one of two known designs executed by Mauzan for Untisal, with the other dwelling less on fury and more on relief (see PAI-LXXXV, 345).
